PESHAWAR: As part of the preparations for the upcoming Quaid-e-Azam Games in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s boxing team is undergoing an intense training camp at Qayyum Stadium in Peshawar. The camp is focused on enhancing the athletes’ performance and preparing them for national-level competitions.
The training process is being personally supervised by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Boxing Association’s Secretary and renowned coach, Khizrullah, who is introducing the athletes to modern training techniques. He emphasized the importance of both technique and physical fitness in boxing and stated that the camp is dedicated to improving these two aspects of the athletes’ skills.
Khizrullah further expressed his confidence that the talented boxers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will perform admirably in the Quaid-e-Azam Games, bringing recognition not only to the province but also to the entire country.
The athletes have expressed satisfaction with the camp’s arrangements, mentioning that Khizrullah’s guidance has boosted their confidence. They are determined to showcase their best performances at the national level.
The participation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s boxing team in the Quaid-e-Azam Games will not only contribute to the development of sports in the province but will also encourage young people to engage in sports.
During the camp, Habib Noor, the President of the District Kohat Boxing Association, visited the training sessions. He praised the efforts of the athletes and encouraged them to continue working hard, expressing hope that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa boxing team will return from the Quaid-e-Azam Games with medals.
